Sports play an important role in the lives of people in Superior, WI. Winter sports that are popular are hockey, ice fishing, snowboarding, skiing and snowmobiling.

Some summer sports are swimming, skateboarding, rollerblading, biking base ball, and football.

Hockey is a fun winter sport. Hockey is a very popular sport in superior. A popular place is Saha. Another place is Westman arena. The different levels are termites, minimites, mites, squirts, peewees, bantams, high school, and college. People of all ages play hockey.

Soccer is also a fun summer sport. Many people play soccer. The teams are purple, red, green, orange, and blue. Baseball is another fun sport. Many people play baseball. The teams are the cubs, red sox, cardinals, rockets, mariners, reds, and the A’s.

Pets are very important in Superior, WI. There is a very large variety of pets to choose from. The most common pets in Superior are cats and dogs. Superior’s state pet is the water spaniel.

Some common pets are cats, dogs, birds, rats, frogs, snakes, hamsters, gerbils, cows, fish, mice, and rabbits. Cats are usually kept inside. Dogs are usually kept on a leash because we have a leash policy. Birds are kept in cages so they won’t fly away. Rats, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, and mice are kept in cages as will. Snakes are kept in cages that are similar to a large dry fish tank. Fish are kept in small to large tanks depending on size. Cows and horses are raised and kept on farms.

Technology is an important part of education. We have students in our classroom who struggle and others who learn quickly. A particular challenge for students is being able to respond to diverse learning style within mixed ability classrooms. Differenced instruction provides a mean for meeting the needs of all learners when it comes to technology.

Students can learn how to use online publishing tools to share and post resources online. This tool allows students to publish online with web based Template plates. All you need to learn is how to navigate the web fill out a web Based form and cut and past.

As fourth graders, part of our curriculum is to learn the keyboard. We use Mavis Beacon, to teach us the keys. We use Microsoft word to type our reports and papers. We use the disk math + science accelerator as use our electricity program.
